Despite national policies like “Fins Naturally Attached” in 2013 and a “complete ban on the export and import of shark fins” in 2015, incidents of fin trades have been happening in different parts of India without any major actions. If these national policies are completely ignored, then what’s the point if poorly implemented? Can we still stop this?? Definitely yes!!! But only if strict vigil is implemented in each harbour, especially renowned for shark fishing.
